Freelancer Live with Christina "Mo" Vázquez Mauricio

Thank you so much to Mo Vazquez founder of Tie Die & Tonic for joining me on Freelancer Live!! ❤️❤️ We talked about her teaching career, how she started and built her business during the pandemic, how she integrates all the facets of her life, and so much more!! Mo is so incredibly impressive, and you're going to love this chat!

By day, Mo is a school administrator at a school district in Connecticut, where she leads a team of world language teachers in grades 6-12. By night, she designs hand-dyed clothing for her brand, Tie Dye & Tonic. After graduating from The George Washington University and working as a paralegal in Manhattan, she quickly realized that a life behind a desk was not for her! She began a career in education by teaching high school Spanish, and earned an MA in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Universidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain and an MA in School Leadership and Administration from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.

She speaks four languages fluently, loves to cook, travel to visit her family in Spain and Portugal, and spend time with her husband and their 1.5 year old daughter, Sofía.
